This is the album that Grand Magus have tried to write after 'Hammer Of The North'. It's hard to decide on my favourite aspect: Kuschke's (Desaster) powerful riffing and his epic leads, the stellar bass work, the raw but dynamic production ... While there are now more heavy metal bands out there than ever, records like this one are the rare proof that it's still possible to arrange traditional elements in a refreshing way!
