This is a great epic traditional metal album. The songs are larger than life, but not really cheesy. There's just enough power metal in it that it supports the epic feel without it every turnung into your stereotypical Euro-power stuff. The vocals are unique but that just means that they add to the originality og this album. Also, the bass player is called Simon the Sorcerer. No way to top that!

This is the album of thr year for me. absolutely epic doom metal. fantastic vocals. ripping riffs huge vocsl Hugh w screams. the titled track is a fantastic song but the siege has that epic sing along chant vibe about it. unbelievable album that I've recommended to everyone I know who likes metal. I truly think it's a special piece of work 🤘
